I Wish I Could Be Part of Your World

Sitting on the deep dark ocean floor,
I glance up to see the sun shining
through that small hole of my dome.
I sigh as the sun gleams
on my gadgets and gizmos.

I look at my fins and then back at the sun.
Oh for I wish that warmth sun shining on me
as I walk freely on the streets,
as I lay on the beach
or even as I dance with my love one.
Why does my heart burn
when I keep on thinking of him?

I swim to the top of my dome
and reach out my hand through that small hole
as he was there to take me away.
His image fades away as I slowly sink
to the cold dark bottom of the ocean.

Solitude by Lucas Lin

Here's a link that he made too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yk5DOoAXUmk

As it rains, I sit here,
Pondering about the meaning of life.
I stare into the rain, observing each drop,
Thinking how meaningful each drop is,
but at the same time it's meaningless.
Each drop having such a short time to live,
before being replaced by another.
There is just a little sad sentiment to it.
Each drop living its life not seeing another one.
A life in solitude, so close yet so far away.
But its okay. There is just a short time before they join together again.
The ocean is where they mingle.
The ocean itself so powerful, engulfing each drop.
The waves crashing
and then, receding slowly after.
But its nice to know that nothing was wasted in the process.

A random poem for an imaginary guy

Leaving me behind was the biggest mistake you have ever done.
Enchantingly, he made my world glow like I was important. You
Opened my heart and I fell in love with him.

I can never forget what you had done but I can forgive you for I have fallen in love.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wrote this poem for my fake self who was a guy...lol His name was Leo.

To Veronika, my muffin~ (close friend)

The first time I met you
was a Hollywood dream.
I know it doesn't rhyme
but does it really matter?
Writing this poem
seems difficult
than it seems.
I love you for who you are
'cuz you're my shooting star.
Promise me you won't go away
b-cuz without you
my world would be incomplete.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Valentines day was almost here. She was

Excited for the first time
Receiving a red rose
On that day meant the world to her.
Nothing could ever stop her from falling
In love with him. She has a
Kind heart
And is amazingly awesome.

Forbidden Love

When I first met you,
it was like when Romeo and Juliet
first met each other at the ball –
love at first sight.
After realizing we were enemies,
we knew our love wouldn't last long.

I sigh as the days go by.
I sigh as I’m thinking about my Romeo.
If only my parents would allow us to be together,
then my life would be complete,
but life isn't perfect or fair.
When we’re at school,
you, my foolish one, surprise me with these hugs
like when Romeo surprised her under her balcony
as she was staring at the starry night sky.

You say that we are not meant for each other.
I thought you were joking for a second,
but I thought wrong.
You ignored me as I tried to make you smile
or even talk to me.
We both thought that you and I disappeared
from each others’ world.
But in reality, we are still in each others’ hearts.
Don’t forget for me, my Romeo.

Superstorm Sandy

Destructive winds shred thousands of homes.
The homes are now merely dirt and rubble.
Flood waters carry personal belongings
of Danny’s brown teddy bear, Anny’s Barbie doll, Aunt Grace’s Bible,
and the Robinson’s daughter’s six year old birthday photos.

As I was walking toward the destruction, ambulances
were coming into the neighborhood to help the families.
Red Cross members covered some in blankets
and others in sheets, they weren’t so lucky.
A young man called William asked for his wife.
They told him that God had taken her away.
Many more cried for their lost love ones.

Listening to the distant static
voices on the radios,
I hear that organizations and communities
are sending medical aid, water and other resources.
Soon it will be time to rebuild.

August 3rd, 2011

My two most prize possessions
taken away from me
because of a stupid mistake.
Yesterday felt like a horrible
nightmare but I realized
it wasn't just a dream.
Next morning I had a feeling of fear
and I didn't know what to do anymore.
I didn't listen to people.
I act like I'm brave.
But in reality I wish
I can control myself
instead of face the consequences
of my nightmares.
I am making too much mistakes
at an age of sixteen.
Not so long ago I did the exact same thing
but it wasn't so bad.
Now I feel that life is beginning to fall
and my hopes are beginning to crumble.
But for some reason,
I still believe I can move on.
I believe that I can face my consequences
and deal with them until I get to learn
how to really control myself.
